Brother Moore is one of the realist Community Organizers I've worked with in the City of Milwaukee, WI. I've done Prayer Vigils, Community Marches against violence, we've even searched for missing children. Brother Moore lends his support to others without any expectations. I love his Leadership and his need to be the solution in our City. That really needs selfless Community Leaders.
I don't write many recommendations or testimonials, however it's an honor and privilege to write this one for Brother Moore.

I met Shawn in 2023 when my son was murdered. Shawn didn't hesitate to help my family seek justice. Every press conference, meeting with the D.A, and court proceeding, he was there, guiding us and speaking for us. He works tirelessly, giving his all for what he believes in "Justice for the People!" My family and I we thank you, Shawn, for your diligent work in Milwaukee.
A Light in the Dark: How Shawn Moore Helped Me Help Others
Dear Shawn
Thank you for all your support,
Grief has a way of making the world feel smaller, darker, and unbearably heavy. When I lost my son, Donovan, to gun violence, I found myself standing at the edge of a pain I never thought I could endure. But in that darkness, I also discovered a purpose—to support others walking the same heartbreaking path. However, turning my pain into purpose wasn’t easy, and that’s where Shawn Moore became a guiding light.
Shawn didn’t just offer words of comfort; he stood beside me as I built events and initiatives to help other survivors. He understood the weight of loss and the importance of community, and he used his wisdom and experience to help me shape something meaningful from my sorrow. One of the most powerful moments was when he spoke at the candlelight vigil, standing before families who knew the same pain we carried. His words were a source of strength, reminding us that while we grieve, we are not alone—that healing comes when we lift each other up.
Shawn’s support has been more than a helping hand—it’s been a lifeline. And for that, I am forever grateful. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from him, it’s that no one should have to carry their pain alone. Together, we stand stronger.
Thank you, Shawn, for believing in me, for walking this journey with me, and for reminding me that even in grief, there is purpose.
Best Regards,

Henry David Thoreau said; I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by our conscious endeavor.
As I consider Shawn Moore and his dedication to the community and to the city of Milwaukee as a whole, I am mindful of Thoreau's statement.
Mr. Shawn has impressed me through both his advocacy, activism and his desire to create a loving and nurturing city free from violence and corruption.
Working with Shawn has been inspiring as he served as a voice during the unrest over the senseless murder of his nephew Isaiah Allen.
Deemed a cancer in the black community, the gas station where Isaiah was murdered closed it's doors after Shawn and Isaiah's family successfully advocated it's closure.
The Lord has his hand on Shawn. He has been tested and found worthy to lead the Lord's children along a better path.
I wish you well in your new endeavor my friend.
